On February 10, twenty-nine pupils from Cape May County Technical High School were inducted into the school’s James S. Kilpatrick National Honor Society. Membership requirements include a grade point average of 3.8, demonstrated leadership, service, scholarship, and character qualities.

On any given day at the Cape May County Technical High School, Tech student’s in Mr. Charles Weiss’ HVAC/R Sustainable Energy Program of Study are gaining ‘real-world’ skills and working to meet their postsecondary and career aspirations. The three -year program of study is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for entry level career and college pathways in the foundations of Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning, and Green Energy Applications.

Waders, bibs and boots were the items for the day. Recently, Ms. Hanna Toft, Natural Science Technology teacher and FFA advisor, gathered the FFA members and headed out to the saltmarsh located behind the school for a habitat clean-up project. For additional assistance, Mr. Josh Andrewson, Agriscience & Horticulture Technology teacher, and Mr. Spencer Hughes, Natural Science Technology aide, attended and helped lead groups of students.
